The bike inner-tubes are all pre-used and upcycled by AROHART. owner Aroha Hathaway, and all the inner-tubes are locally sourced from Hauraki bike shop Jolly Bikes in Thames!
There are even workshops where you can learn how to do it yourself.
ToiTiki Designs
Tikirau Hathaway is an accomplished artist and graphic designer who is currenty based in New Zealand’s metro hub, Tāmaki Makaurau. His ToiTIKI prints are some of our most popular sellers and are ordered and bought by customers all over the word.
Tikirau works at HAUMI, a leading Māori creative concept company.

Ko wai?
After searching for authentic Māori art in our local shops, we found a significant lack of not only authentic Māori pieces, but also a lack of education around what Māori art really is. That turned into AROHART. the art initiative.
This is a passion project! And AROHART. and Project Aroha continue to grow and evolve.
Tikirau is based at HAUMI, Aotearoa’s premiere Māori design and concept house.
Aroha is based in Hauraki and works in media and the arts.
